Give me a T, give me an H, give me an A, give me an N, give me a K, give me a Y, give me an O, give me a U. What does that spell? THANK YOU!

IMG_8834The West Hollywood Cheerleaders, founded in 1986, are a dedicated group of volunteers working to end the stigma surrounding HIV and AIDS. In 1998 the group was given an official commendation from the City of West Hollywood as the “Ambassadors of Goodwill and Friendship.” The West Hollywood Cheerleaders lead grass root campaigns raising money for organizations with events at local bars and restaurants such as the Eagle LA and Hamburger Mary’s. 100% of the funds they raise go to groups such as Alliance for Housing and Healing/Aid for AIDS, The Life Group LA, APLA, AIDS Walk LA, AIDS LifeCycle, AIDS Service Center, AIDS Assistance Program, and Christopher Street West.

We thank the West Hollywood Cheerleaders for generously supporting the programs of Alliance for Housing and Healing and being vocal members of the community. Look for the Cheerleaders’ pompoms partnered with the Best in Drag Show float in this year’s Christopher Street West Parade on June 8th.
